SAVING OUR FUTURE SOCIETY

October Domestic
Violence Month

Take a moment to help another woman in need on October 26, Thursday

We have stayed silence far too long!

CCAFV works to make domestic violence a national priority; change the way communities respond to domestic violence; and strengthen efforts against intimate partner violence at every level of society.

Our programs include:

  • Empowering domestic violence survivors to lead independent lives free from abuse;

  • Advancing economic empowerment and financial literacy for domestic violence survivors and their allies;

  • Improving high-profile media coverage of domestic violence cases;

  • Educating survivors and their allies about safe technological practices and how batterers misuse technology to further abuse;

  • Building the understanding against domestic and sexual violence;

  • Providing specific legal information and course of action for domestic violence survivors;

  • Promoting legislation that effectively holds perpetrators accountable and strengthens services for survivors and their children.

Goal for CCAFV

Seeking partners to support our goals

Our target population is families experiencing the effects of domestic violence in need of emergency shelter, support, education, and counseling. CCAFV operates on the philosophy that domestic violence is multi-dimensional and often cyclical in nature and must be addressed through a range of interventions. Our goal is to provide supportive service programs that will prepare our clients and their children to live independent and violence free lives, with an emphasis on education and prevention for future generations.

Domestic violence, statistics vs the real picture. Woman about to be beaten.

Help us change the thinking before we lose our society

Buddha teaches us; "They are the truth of suffering, the truth of the cause of suffering, the truth of the end of suffering, and the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering."

More simply put, suffering exists; it has a cause; it has an end; and it has a cause to bring about its end.
