First, find a safe place you can stay without revenge from your domestic partner. Then we recommend filing a complaint with your local police and Ministry of Women Affairs at the same time just in case your domestic partner has influence with local police. Do not let cultural reasons stop you from filing a complaint especially if you are being psychically abused as there is no shame in doing what is right when your attacker is in the wrong.
